The Descants are a non-auditioned beginning choir that sings a variety of repertoire ranging from standard classical literature, to gospel music, to musical theatre and pop music. This group performs on 4 major concerts each year; The Breakfast Show, The Holiday Show, The Showcase of Champions, and Spring Spectacular. Members may also have a few rehearsals after school to prepare for the Holiday Show and Spring Spectacular. The focus of Descants is building comprehensive musicianship through performance.
